Founder of CATCHPRO ACADEMY

Experience behind the plate shaped a system built for individual development.

Andrés developed his perspective behind the plate through college and professional baseball, where receiving, blocking, throwing, game management, communication, and preparation all had to work together.

His work with youth, high school, college, and advanced catchers reinforced a central principle: two athletes can produce the same result for different reasons. Effective coaching identifies the cause and builds the training plan around the individual.

CATCHPRO brings technique, movement, strength, game awareness, leadership, and confidence into one development system. Athletes learn what they are changing, why it matters, and how to carry the work into competition.

“To give catchers clear coaching, a plan they understand, and the confidence to become well-rounded players and leaders behind the plate.”
  • Explain why each move works, not only what to do.
  • Fit training to each player’s age, body, skill level, and goals.
  • Practice each skill often and with a clear purpose.
  • Build skill, leadership, communication, and confidence.
